Professor Alexis Rusinek, is working in the field of the dynamic behaviour of materials and structures for more than 20 years at Lorraine University (France). He is co-author of more than 130 international publications related to the previous topics. Prof. Alexis Rusinek is a researcher in LEM3-UMR CNRS (Laboratory of Microstructure Studies and Mechanics of Materials) and was teaching at Lorraine University until July 2021. The materials considered in his research works are related to Metals, Polymers and Composites. From 2017 to July 2021, he was the Director of the laboratory LCP-DUF related to polymers characterization.

Prof. A. Rusinek, is also co-editor of the journal Engineering Transactions, a member of the scientific editorial board of the Bulletin of the Military University of technology and a member of the scientific boarding of International Journal of Impact Engineering. He was the Attache for science and academic cooperation at the French Embassy in Budapest between 2021-2023.

Lucia Figuli is associate professor at the Department of Security Management at University of Žilina, Faculty of Security Engineering, Slovak Republic, where she chairs the courses oriented to the security and structural engineering (PhD degree in 2009, born 1982). She is a member of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme´s Independent Scientific Evaluation Group, she is an evaluator of various international projects (Erasmus+, Slovak research and development agency, Croatian science foundation, European Comission, etc.). Co-author of more than 80 peer-reviewed publications. Editor for the open access "International Journal of Structural Glass and Advanced Materials Research" (SGAMR), Soft Target Protection: Theoretical Basis and Practical Measures, Structural and Mechanical Engineering for Security and Prevention, Advancements in Design and Analysis of Protective Structures. She deals in her research activities with the protection of critical infrastructure elements from the structural aspects

Prof. Zdeněk Dvořák, Ph.D. Eng. is professor of the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications, UNIZA. He is graduated from the  Military faculty High School of Transport and Communication (next VŠDS) Žilina in 1986. He completed his CSc./PhD in Military faculty VŠDS Žilina, from 1997. 

His scientific interest focus on the critical infrastructure protection and enhancing of resilience, the information decision support in crisis and emergency situations and the security of information systems in crisis situations. Between 2015-2019 he is the Dean of Faculty of Security Engineering UNIZA.

Judit Nagy is an Associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. She earned her PhD in Supply Chain Management and since then she participated in several academic and business projects in this area. She is working in the  Department of Supply Chain Management at the Institute of Operations and Decision Sciences. Her area of expertise is digitalisation in the supply chain with a special focus on its resilience, and supply chain management in the food industry. Her current research topic is the food supply chain as an element of critical infrastructure and the role of digitalisation in its resilience. She is the author of more than 120 international and Hungarian publications. She is the head of the Food Supply Chain Research Group at Corvinus, and she is the Programme Director of Corvinus's largest bachelor programme involving almost 2000 students.

As a volunteer activity, she is the head of the Educators Committee in the Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management, connecting educators and researchers in logistics and supply chain management in Hungary. She is a member of many international scientific organizations, too, like IPSERA, EurOMA and ISIR.

Peter Holicza holds a Master's degree in Business Development Economics and earned his Ph.D. in Security Sciences with summa cum laude honors. During his academic journey, he made significant contributions to the field, authoring more than 50 scholarly articles and actively supporting Erasmus initiatives, fostering international collaborations spanning academia and industry.

In 2019, he joined the Ministry of Justice as an EU expert; afterwards, he was delegated to the European Commission and to the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU.

Presently, he serves as Deputy State Secretary for EU Affairs and International Relations at the Ministry of Energy. In this capacity, his responsibilities encompass energy and climate diplomacy, legislative work related to the Council of the EU, industrial relations, and the preparation for Hungary's EU Presidency in 2024.

Ludovika University of Public Service, Hungary

László Kovács is a full university professor at the Ludovika University of Public Service. He has been involved in electronic warfare, information operations and cyber warfare for over twenty-five years. In addition to university education, as a scientific researcher, he conducts research in the fields of cyberwarfare, information terrorism, and the protection of critical information infrastructures. In September 2020, he was awarded the title of Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences with his dissertation on cyber security strategies. Between 2019 and 2023, he was the Cyber Defense Inspector of the Command of the Hungarian Defense Forces and then the Commander of the Cyber Operations Command of the Hungarian Defense Forces. His main task was the management of the cyber defense and cyber operations of the Hungarian Armed Forces, as well as the development of its organizations. He is currently the vice rector for academic affairs of the Ludovika University of Public Service.

Prof. Marcin Adamiak, DSc., PhD., Eng. was born on 7 June 1968 in Sanok, Poland. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice in 1993. He completed his PhD thesis in the field of materials science in 1997. Permanently, since 1993, he works at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.

His scientific interests include materials science and materials engineering, within the specialization: metal and non-metal engineering materials (metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites), biomedical and dental engineering, gradient technologies and materials, engineering materials manufacturing and processing technologies, , powder metallurgy, surface engineering, including PVD and CVD coatings, as well as laser treatment and micro texturing.

Since 2017 Prof. Marcin Adamiak was a Deputy Director of the Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials of the Silesian University of Technology, and simultaneously – since 2014 – the Head of the Division of Biomaterials Engineering. His scientific output includes more than 180 scientific publications, in international journals and in scientific conference proceedings of worldwide range.

From 1st of October 2019 he is the Head of Laboratory of Materials Research of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Dr. Eng. Valeriu Gabriel Ghica graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Faculty of Metallurgy, Specialization in Extractive Metallurgy in 1982, with a grade of 10 in the diploma exam. He followed the Post-University course _ High Precision Nuclear Analyzes (1987 – 1988). He worked for 2 years in the car industry (Dacia Mioveni) and the aeronautical industry (ICPPFTA Bucharest I). For 10 years he worked in research (Scientific Researcher) as Head of the Nuclear Electron Microscopy Unit and from 1995 he transferred to higher education where he was: Lector, Associate Professor, Professor (2016). From 07.06.2016, he was granted the habilitation certificate in the field of doctoral university studies in Materials Engineering. Prof. Ghica Valeriu Gabriel, is a holder professor of the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Faculty of Materials Science, Department of Engineering and Management of Obtaining Metallic Materials; he is a member of the Faculty Council, Member of the Doctoral School Council - Materials Science and Engineering, Head of the Hydrometallurgy Laboratory.
